I made a difference. During the pandemic, I have volunteered with "Deipnos Agapis" ("Dinners of Love"), a Greek NPO dedicated to helping those in need. To help the many homeless people in Athens who lack sustenance, I cook and pack 50 meals every Tuesday and Thursday- 100 meals a week to be distributed in the hardest hit areas of the city. These meals do not feed everyone, but I truly do feel, as the name of the organization says, that they are "Dinners of Love". Each meal symbolized a person who would know that someone, somewhere cared enough to make a meal for him or her.
In the world we have all inhabited the past year it is essential to make a difference and always help others!
